About Us

IDHA Consulting provides a range of services whilst working with donor countries, UN agencies, national governments, private sector and civil society.

IDHA Consulting hold strong skills in the evaluation of aid programmes against OECD DAC criteria, using quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods, gender analysis, results-based M&E, case study development, Theory of Change, and Value for Money analysis. With over 20 years of experience in planning, management, monitoring and evaluation of development and humanitarian assistance programmes in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Oceania, IDHA Consulting holds a strong track record in their work.

IDHA Consulting has consistently shown an ability to provide evidence based, realistic and pragmatic recommendations to strengthen programme strategies and results; supporting coherence and coordination of programmes with multiple actors through developing common goals and outcomes, therefore enabling positive social change.

With a wide range of differing sectoral interventions, including: protection, human rights, access to basic services, economic opportunities, food security, private sector engagement, peace-building and strengthening of local governance structures, IDHA Consulting possesses a varied sectoral background, whilst consistently delivering a standard of the highest quality in each circumstance.

The principal consultant - Martine Van de Velde, has over 20 years' experience working at the grassroots and management level of UN agencies, NGOs and Government, with the aim of her work being to support effective development interventions in reducing conflict and violence, whilst supporting communities in rebuilding their lives and finding common ground.
